    DAY 1 : Arusha National Park.

    Your driver will pick you up from your hotel at around 8:00 a.m., after you’ve had breakfast. From there, you’ll head to the nearby Arusha National Park—an ideal introduction to the wildlife and landscapes you’ll encounter throughout your safari. Though small in size, the park is home to a remarkable variety of animals, including giraffes, Cape buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, elephants, bushbucks, and several species of monkeys such as the black-and-white colobus and the blue monkey. Bird enthusiasts will also be delighted, as the park offers some of the best birdwatching opportunities in the region, with highlights like the Narina trogon, bar-tailed trogon, and a variety of starling species.

    To make your experience even more memorable, you’ll enjoy a guided walking safari—an intimate way to connect with nature as you listen to birdsong, admire the scenery, and observe wildlife like zebras and giraffes up close.     DAY 2 : Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park.

    As you depart from Arusha, relax and take in the beautiful scenery along the way, with ever-changing landscapes and vegetation. The drive takes about two hours and offers glimpses of local life—farmers tending their fields, stone quarries in operation, and Maasai herders guiding their cattle in search of water and pasture. Though small in size, Lake Manyara National Park is a true gem for bird enthusiasts and a haven for diverse wildlife. You’ll have the chance to spot elephants, wildebeests, countless giraffes, and buffaloes, along with large numbers of zebras, impalas, warthogs, and waterbucks. After an exciting day of exploration, continue your journey to Karatu, where you’ll spend the night.

Your driver will take a different route from the one traveled on day two, offering a unique perspective on these two World Heritage Sites—from the sun-drenched grasslands of the Serengeti to the lush montane forests of Ngorongoro.

    DAY 7 : Arusha - Ngorongoro Crater.

    With picnic lunches in hand, today’s adventure takes you down to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day exploration guided by your expert tracker. Descending 610 meters into this vast 260 km² caldera—the largest unbroken caldera in the world—you’ll encounter an incredible diversity of wildlife. The crater is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo), as well as hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, and spotted hyenas. Birdwatchers will delight in the variety of species inhabiting the area, while other fascinating animals include vervet monkeys, jackals, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, and hares. After a thrilling day of game viewing, you will continue your journey to Tarangire.

    DAY 8 : Arusha - Tarangire National Park

    After an early breakfast, depart from your hotel for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. This remarkable park is renowned for its enormous elephant herds, which can number up to 300, as well as large groups of migratory wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and elands grazing along the dry riverbeds. The Silale Swamp attracts over 550 bird species, making it one of the richest breeding habitats in the world. Tarangire is also home to tree-climbing pythons, lions, and leopards. After a day filled with game drives and wildlife viewing, return to Arusha for the evening.
