Each destination offers its own unique landscapes and wildlife encounters, promising a complete and immersive safari adventure.
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00 AM after breakfast for a short drive to Arusha National Park — the
nearest park to the city. Though small, the park offers a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. It’s home to giraffes,
Cape buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, elephants, bushbucks, and playful black-and-white colobus monkeys. Bird enthusiasts can
spot species like the Narina trogon, bar-tailed trogon, and various starlings.
You’ll enjoy a guided walking safari — an up-close encounter with nature, surrounded by birdsong, grazing animals, and the
park’s scenic beauty. A trained ranger will accompany you for safety and a richer experience. After an exciting day in the
wild, you’ll return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Arusha.
Depart from Arusha and enjoy a scenic two-hour drive through changing landscapes, passing farms, stone quarries, and Maasai herders guiding their cattle in search of water and pasture. Upon arrival at Lake Manyara National Park, explore this small yet wildlife-rich park, renowned for birdwatching and home to elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, warthogs, and waterbucks. After a day of wildlife viewing, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, drive through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. Take in the breathtaking landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see. In the central Seronera region, nourished by the Seronera River, explore a wildlife-rich area where vast herds of wildebeests and zebras migrate together, giraffes roam gracefully, and antelopes and gazelles leap across the plains. Keep watch for elephants and top predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas in this iconic safari destination.
Start your day with an early morning game drive across the Serengeti plains, seeking out wildlife you may have missed the
previous day. Witness the unforgettable sunrise as the savannah glows golden while lions, leopards, and other predators
begin their hunt.
For a truly unique experience, you can opt for a hot air balloon safari — drifting silently over the Serengeti at dawn for a
breathtaking perspective. This is an optional activity, which should be confirmed with your safari expert in advance.
After breakfast, continue exploring the vast Serengeti in your open-roof vehicle, enjoying a packed lunch along the way. Don your
hat and sunglasses and immerse yourself in the wonders of nature.
Begin your day with an early morning game drive across the Serengeti plains, catching any wildlife you may have missed the day
before. Enjoy the spectacular sunrise as the golden savannah comes alive and predators like lions and leopards begin their
hunt.
In the afternoon, start your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a game drive en route. Your driver will take
a different route from earlier in the safari, offering fresh scenery and wildlife encounters. This drive showcases the contrast
between two UNESCO World Heritage Sites — from the Serengeti’s vast golden plains to the lush montane forests of Ngorongoro.
Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to a descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare. After the excitements of the day you will drive to Tarangire.
After an early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife including wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and predators like lions and leopards. The Silale Swamp hosts over 550 bird species, making it a paradise for bird watchers. After your game drive, return to Arusha in the evening.
