Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Arusha town. Enjoy a relaxing evening after your long journey, with dinner and overnight stay at your hotel as you prepare for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, depart from your lodge and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Though small in size, this park offers incredible ecological diversity. The scenic landscape stretches from the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the shimmering soda lake, covering lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and hot springs. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the park’s stunning surroundings. Lake Manyara is a true birdwatcher’s paradise, hosting over 350 bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks. Keep your eyes open for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions as well as elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. After your thrilling game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, with an optional visit to a Maasai village en route to experience the rich traditions and daily life of the Maasai people. Continue your journey across the scenic highlands and into the endless plains of Serengeti, arriving in time for a picnic lunch. Spend the afternoon on an exciting game drive across the vast savannah dotted with acacia trees and kopjes. Depending on the season, especially between December and February, you may witness the Great Migration — immense herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. The park also hosts a variety of resident wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, and leopards. In the evening, return to your tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park. Rise early to make the most of the morning light and active wildlife. Your expert guide will take you to the best areas for sightings depending on the season — whether it’s the Hippo Pool, where hippos and crocodiles share the waters, or the open plains, where large prides of lions roam. You may find yourself surrounded by wildebeest and zebras as they migrate, or exploring the kopjes, ancient volcanic rock formations that serve as lookout points and shelters for big cats. The Serengeti’s vast ecosystem is home to a breathtaking variety of wildlife — elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard — along with numerous bird species like the secretary bird and ostrich. Return to your tented camp in the evening for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
