Drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying scenic views and local Maasai life en route. The park is ideal for birdwatching and home to elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, warthogs, and waterbucks. After the game drive, continue to Karatu for overnight.
After breakfast, we will set off on a full day game drive in the wilderness following the Great Migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa. Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site, is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle, which join in the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over six million hooves pounding the open plains. This is just like you imagined Africa to be!
Full-day game drive in the Mara area to witness the Great Migration. Explore kopjes, woodlands, riverine vegetation, and open plains, with a chance to see wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River. Wildlife in the area is abundant, though river crossings can be unpredictable.
After breakfast, drive to northern Serengeti to view the Great Migration at the Mara area. The Mara River is a highlight, with possible wildebeest and zebra crossings. Morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visit Olduvai Gorge museum and Laetoli to see 3.6-million-year-old hominin footprints, among the earliest evidence of human history.
We start with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Ngorongoro was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It also safeguards the interests of indigenous people and promotes tourism.
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive among elephants, wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and over 550 bird species. Later, head back to Arusha.
